Issue 46|Winter / Spring 2020

Issue 46:
Coming out in the wake of Canada’s October 2019 federal election, Inroads 46 examines the election result from several perspectives: what it portends for Canada’s approach to climate change, the conventions surrounding minority government and – in light of the highly fragmented Canadian electorate – how it played out in each of Canada’s five regions. Other articles include reports from Belgium and the Czech Republic; examinations of new developments in medically assisted dying, Canada’s approach to China, and Quebec’s secularism law and its struggles with Ottawa over immigration policy; and a look back at the recent history of Britain’s Labour Party to cast light on the current Brexit impasse.
