Issue 57|Summer / Fall 2025

Issue 57:

The Summer/Fall 2025 issue of Inroads looks across the Atlantic to see how Europe is coping with Trump’s disruption of the international order. Jacob Christensen reports from Denmark, whose territory of Greenland is in Trump’s sights, while Thibaud Marcesse highlights the opportunities for European security cooperation presented by Trump’s dismissive attitude toward his European allies. Also in this issue, Reg Whitaker presents a generally positive assessment of Justin Trudeau’s decade as Prime Minister, Tom Flanagan is critical of his record on Indigenous affairs, and three Quebec political scientists examine why there was no strong backlash in that province against Trudeau’s forceful initiatives in social policy.
